OnCORE
An optimization solution for enterprise-scale manufacturers, OnCORE (Optimization Server) integrates seamlessly into existing IT infrastructure and is ideally suited to serve large data networks comprised of multiple manufacturing centers, retail locations and administrative offices.

What is OnCORE?
1. OnCORE is a software package combining Ardis optimization, SQL data storage and the OnCORE process handler.
2. The software is installed on a Windows Server machine on the network and handles optimization tasks submitted by clients.
3. Client applications can be installed on any number of PC workstations on the network, enabling users to submit optimization tasks and retrieve results.

OnCORE Features:

1. Extends optimization to all branches and departments, not just manufacturing.
Sales, estimating, accounting and purchasing - all can benefit from access to optimized job data. OnCORE makes it easy to submit optimization tasks for purposes other than production:

- Sales staff can quickly generate quotes based on real-world inventory quantities
- Estimators can more accurately price jobs to bid on
- Purchasing can easily gauge the material on hand and can even predict when materials will need to be reordered

2. Integration with ERP and Databases
Import data directly from ERP or databases for use in optimization tasks and update them to reflect materials consumed by optimized jobs. Incorporate data from ERP in reports and labels.

3. Sophisticated quoting, reporting and data analytics
OnCORE supports 3rd party reporting services like MS SQL Reporting and Crystal reports, allowing you to create professional quotes, estimates and internal documents that incorporate data from optimized jobs.

4. Centralized IT Administration
OnCOREis designed for easy implementation in existing IT infrastructures and utilizes existing user profiles and access rights. Licensing, authentication, roles and memberships are unaffected and all client access to the OnCORE processes is managed on the server.

5. Multi-core Processing and Job Queuing
Optimization tasks are automatically distributed to idle processing cores or placed in a queue until a core becomes available. This means that any number of users can submit jobs at any time - there is no need to log off users in order to free up licenses. Jobs are optimized in the order that they are submitted and results are returned to users as soon as they are available. Simple controls can be added to the client interface to give users information about the status of their job and expected completion time.

5.
Superior Optimization and Saw Automation
Sheet goods optimization is powered by ARDIS, the global leader in panel optimization software. With over 6000 customers in a wide array of industries, ARDIS is tried and tested technology that delivers exception results, day-in and day-out. OnCORE makes the power of ARDIS accessible to all users on your company network while virtually eliminating the learning curve via the slim client interface.

  Implementation Strategies:
Cut-to-size Manufacturing
Use OnCORE to power a web-based estimating and ordering system that your clients can access and use 24/7. Results are based on your real-time inventory and prices, ensuring that clients get accurate quotes. Orders are filed electronically and in your preferred format, eliminating the need for cumbersome data entry on your end.

inventory

1. A page on your website allows users to submit jobs from anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day.

2. Your site can return estimates to clients, accept orders and can even be integrated with online payment processing services.

3. If an order is confirmed,OnCORE
can process the data and export manufacturing
data  directly to machines on the factory floor.

Strategic Inventory Planning
OnCORE allows you to avoid over and under-stocking of material types and sizes, reducing manufacturing delays and improving the accuracy of order estimates and customer quotations that require real-time calculation of material costs.

inventory

1. Estimating submits a job to OnCORE.

2. The job is optimized and processed.

3. Results are returned to estimating.

4. Purchasing receives a status alert  indicating that, should the estimate go to production, a material on inventory will be exhausted.

Remnant Management

OnCORE can help you manage remnant inventory across multiple warehouses and manufacturing plants and can even predict when large amounts of remnants will be produced. Access to the remnant inventory is site-wide, increasing the opportunity for reuse.

remnants

1. Sales accesses the remnant inventory when quoting customers allowing remnants to be allocated even at the point of sale.

2. The office can access remnant inventory for analytics, re-ordering and other administrative

3. Manufacturing can access remnant inventory for use in complete jobs or to redo individual parts.

Accurate Quoting and Estimating

Generate sales quotations at point-of-sale and franchise locations that are based on actual inventory on-hand at warehouses and manufacturing facilities. Opt server stores the job results, so when the customer signs the quote the order does not have to be reoptimized.

quoting

1. Sales submits a job for quotation purposes.

2. The job is optimized and the quotation is generated based on the results.

3. The results of the optimization are stored on the server and can be sent to production at any time.

4. If the quotation is accepted, sales can notify the plant to call up the stored job results for production.
