A family owned cabinet company located in the state of Washington, Bellmont presented an interesting challenge. Bellmont was looking for a more automated process and achieved this by installing a Biesse Winstore Storage and Retrieval system in which... ...the materials needed for production are stacked on 3 trolley offload stations. These 3 trolleys feed 5 Biesse Rovers. BlueCell does the nesting for the 5 Rovers and also determines the best efficiency for loading the trolleys, using Christmas tree stacking to organize largest boards to smallest from bottom to top as well as governing the height of the stacks on the trolleys so that the stacks going to the Rovers do not get stacked too high. ImPrint is installed for label printing at each of the CNC stations and InStock is used for Remnant storage, communicating with the Winstore to synchronize remnant info so that remnants can be placed back in the Winstore for future use.

A trip to a trade show in 2016, and seeing the potential there of new automation equipment and software, started Onsite down the path to even greater manufacturing automation. Pytha and Microvellum, are used by Onsite on the front end for design. Once a design...
...is complete, the partlists are imported into BlueCell. BlueCell automatically determines which parts only need to be cut by a panel saw and which parts have additional machining and therefore need to be sent to a CNC. BlueCell does the optimizing of both the panel saw patterns and the nests with machining for the CNCs. Machinery at Onsite includes a Biesse Winstore storage and retrieval, a Biesse Selco Panel saw and 2 Biesse Rovers. These machines at least are part of the automated solution Eurosoft was involved with. BlueCell determines which parts are going to be cut on which machines and in what sequence and communicates with the Winstore to correctly feed materials when and where needed. InStock is a more recent addition, added after the original automation project, for increased management of sheet stock. Onsite desired to track not only existing material that was already available but also wanted to keep track of allocated inventory for upcoming jobs. When a material starts running low notifications are sent so that the material sheet stock can be ordered and replenished in time. This is synchronized real-time with the inventory in the Winstore.
